This law allows the State Board of Community College and Vocational Education (SBCCOE) to implement minimum graduation requirements for students to earn a high school diploma. Community colleges can award high school diplomas to students who meet these requirements. The bill also funds the Adult Education and Literacy Grant Program for fiscal year 2028-2029. The bipartisan bill received 95% approval from state legislators.
