MECHANICSBURG, (WHTM) — The new Sadler Health Center that recently opened in Mechanicsburg is now accepting patient appointments for vision services.
The center, located at 5210 East Trindle Road, opened in December 2023 to provide primary care services.
Now, the new Westshore store also offers eye exams, eye disease diagnosis and treatment, and low-cost eyewear.
According to Sadler Health, all insurance plans are accepted and patients do not need to be a medical patient of Sadler Health to receive vision care services.
“Offering vision care services is another way we are making Sadler's new West Coast location a one-stop shop for care,” said Manal El Hallaq, chief executive officer of Sadler Health Centers. “With primary care, dental care, behavioral health, laboratory services, pharmacy and vision care all under one roof, healthcare for Westshore patients will be more convenient than ever.”
As a federally qualified health center, Sadler has a sliding discount program that reduces costs based on household size and income. El-Halak said the program will help Sadler provide care to underserved patients in Cumberland and Perry counties.
“According to our 2019 Community Health Needs Assessment, more than 88 percent of low-income people in Cumberland County lack access to or are underserved in health care,” El-Halak said. said. “Sadler Health’s mission is to provide health care that is affordable and accessible to everyone, regardless of income or insurance status.”
To provide vision care services, Sadler Health also partners with Dr. Julian Procope of Horizon Eye Care Group, PC.

Sadler Health's new Westshore Health Center has 23 exam rooms and eight dental suites. Later this year, the center plans to open an express care center for patients in need of urgent care.
