Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital held its annual health fair in Newburgh, West Virginia, providing free and low-cost health screenings and health education to the community.
Since 2003, Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital has co-sponsored the annual Newburgh Health Fair with the Newburgh Rotary Club as part of its community service program. A portion of the proceeds from the health fair will support the Newburgh Rotary Club and their projects will be carried out throughout the year.
Laboratory, cardiac rehabilitation, trauma and primary care staff from Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital in Fellowsville join the Rotary Club of Newburgh, Newburgh Senior Center and 10 other medical and community organizations at the health fair. was held.
Low-cost blood tests, free vision tests, and free blood pressure tests were provided to participants along with educational resources on a variety of topics. Health topics covered include organ donation, stroke and heart attack symptoms, drug use prevention, respiratory care, and more.
