Snow has come! Several inches of snow could fall in parts of the state, and the timing forced hundreds of schools to close.
Here's an hour-by-hour look at what you can expect.
Snow moved from west to east into Connecticut in the early morning hours.

As morning approached, snow fell across the state. The snow is wet and heavy. Sticks instantly to any surface.
The heaviest snow will be from mid-morning to around 10am.
The southern half of the state will see the heaviest snow. Some towns saw 8 inches of snow, while others saw 2 inches.
The storm is moving rapidly and will weaken by early afternoon.
