Public school educators in Anderson, Campbell, Morgan, Roane and Scott counties will submit proposals to fund science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) programs, according to a press release. I am being asked to do so.
“School systems are often under-resourced when it comes to effectively teaching STEM topics in schools,” said Pam Bonney, director of communications and marketing at ORAU. “Our Education Grant program provides teachers with the opportunity to obtain the resources they need to give their students the next leg up in STEM.”
