In a recent judgment against the former prime minister, a Pakistani court sentenced Imran Khan and his wife to seven years in prison for having their marriage annulled.
The court ruled that Khan's 2018 marriage to faith healer Bushra Bibi was un-Islamic and illegal.
He is already in jail on corruption charges. Last Wednesday, a week before the general election, the pair were found guilty of profiting from state gifts.
Khan, 71, said the numerous cases against him were politically motivated.
The former Pakistan cricket captain turned politician was forced to step down as Prime Minister of Pakistan in 2022.
In this case, a court was set up at Rawalpindi's Adiala Jail, where Khan is completing his previous sentence.
Bibi's ex-husband filed the complaint, claiming that her marriage to Khan was fraudulent.
Under Muslim family law, a woman is prohibited from remarrying for several months after her husband dies or divorces. The court found that Bibi remarried before the prescribed post-divorce period had elapsed.
In addition to seven years in prison, the court imposed a fine of 500,000 rupees ($1,800, £1,420) on Mr Khan and Mr Bibi.
The couple married in 2018, months before Mr Khan was elected prime minister. Bibi, a spiritual healer believed to be in her 40s and who always wears a veil in public, is Khan's third wife.
Khan had a reputation as a playboy during his cricketing days, but settled into a high society marriage to British socialite Jemima Goldsmith in 1995. Their marriage lasted nine years and they had two sons.
Her second marriage, to journalist and former BBC weathercaster Reham Khan in 2015, lasted less than a year.
Saturday's jail sentence is Khan's third in less than a week. On Tuesday, he was sentenced to 10 years in prison for leaking classified documents.
Wednesday's court hearing centered on accusations that he and his wife sold or kept state gifts they received while in office, including jewelry from the Saudi crown prince.
Both men were sentenced to 14 years in prison in this case. The court ruled to allow Bushra Bibi to serve under her house arrest.
Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Party (PTI) said he was tried in a “kangaroo court”.
Even before the latest verdict was handed down, many were questioning the credibility of next week's elections after Mr Khan and his party withdrew.
Authorities deny carrying out a crackdown, but many PTI leaders are in prison or in exile.
Khan's arrest last year sparked sometimes violent protests and the rounding up of thousands of party supporters.
The favorite to win is three-time former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.
He was jailed on corruption charges ahead of the 2018 elections won by Imran Khan. Many analysts say he currently has the support of Pakistan's powerful military.
