Global logistics and technology company Air Business has welcomed John Middleton and Darrell Sweeney as its new global new business director and e-commerce service delivery director, respectively.
This follows significant investment in the company's proprietary electronic logistics technology, Consero. Jon will report to Air Business CEO Adam Sherman, while Darrell will report to Andy Haylar, director of e-commerce and technology.
John returns to the business world after 10 years developing e-commerce solutions for companies such as Parcel2Go and Royal Mail. He has gained valuable experience in the postal and parcel industry over many years, holding director level roles. His goal is to take newly developed technology and combine it with market leading distribution solutions wrapped up in the level of customer service that Air Business is already renowned for. He will then offer these services to new and existing sectors such as retail and publishing.
Darrell (pictured left) has valuable industry expertise having worked in e-commerce and distribution with organisations such as Royal Mail and Pro Carrier, and having played a key role in the growth and success of P2P Mailing from its launch through to its acquisition by Fed-Ex. His goal is to expand the company's e-commerce service offering by bringing Air Business' superior service to Ireland through its owner and delivery partner, An Post (the Irish National Post Office), and strengthening its global network.
