Former Green Party MP Darlene Tana's husband's electric bike business is to be liquidated, the same day the executive summary of what she knew about alleged exploitation of immigrants in the business is published.
According to the New Zealand Companies Registry, the company has been declared insolvent and is under the jurisdiction of the Court of Audit and consulting firm Khov Jones has been appointed liquidator for E Cycles NZ Limited.

The company's first report is due to be filed on July 23rd.
by New Zealand Herald A sign was posted outside Bikes & Beyond in Newmarket saying the store was temporarily closed.
A second Bikes and Beyond shop, located on Waiheke Island, has been advertised on TradeMe since 2nd July, with a list price of $0.00.
The Greens have published a summary of their investigation into what Tana knew about alleged exploitation of immigrants at her husband's company and whether she was honest with the Greens.
The report, obtained by RNZ last week, said Tana likely knew about the allegations but failed to pass on personal complaints raised by former employees to the Greens.
Tana has taken issue with the contents of the report, the way it was conducted and the way it was presented.
She resigned as a Green Party councillor last week, but the party wants her to step down from parliament altogether.
“Darlene has been given multiple opportunities to speak openly about the serious allegations she faces but instead of answering straightforward questions she has chosen to be vague, creating the need for an independent investigation,” Green Party co-leader Chloe Swarbrick said.
“Now the public will understand why the group of lawmakers unanimously called for Councillor Darlene to resign from Parliament.”
