With Father's Day just around the corner, we harnessed the power of YouGov BrandIndex, a syndicated brand tracker that continuously collects data on thousands of brands every day, to analyze the most considered brands among urban Indian dads between May 1, 2023 and April 30, 2024, with a focus on retail.
And the winner is…
Among the e-commerce brands tracked by YouGov BrandIndex in India, Amazon has won the hearts of Indian dads with an impressive score of 75.1 and secured the No. 1 spot. Next is Flipkart which took the second position with 67.6 points.
Food prices are rising…
Interestingly, grocery brands are establishing a notable presence among Indian fathers. BigBasket, Reliance Fresh and Flipkart Supermart ranked fifth, seventh and eighth respectively.This indicates that fathers are increasingly turning to online platforms for grocery shopping.

YouGov BrandIndex collects data on thousands of brands every day. Brands in these rankings are ranked based on consideration scores from hundreds of surveys conducted between May 1, 2023 and April 30, 2024. Brands were filtered to include respondents who are male and a parent or guardian of a child and ranked using their consideration scores. All scores listed are rounded to one decimal place, but additional precision is used in the rankings. The base size is 100 or greater.
