CHARLESTON, Ill. (WCIA) — In recognition of Teacher Appreciation Week, Regional Education Authority #11 recognized professionals from more than 30 central Illinois school districts who model teaching excellence.
The winners were selected for the 5th Annual ROE #11 Excellence Award through nominations from across the region. These recommendations were reviewed by a committee, which narrowed him down to one expert per district. This award spotlights pre-K through 12th grade education leaders who have demonstrated remarkable skill and dedication to not only their schools but their communities.
Most importantly, we reward those who inspire a passion for learning in a wide range of students.
“We are honored to have so many outstanding school professionals within our region who are passionate about the profession and dedicated to our students,” said District Superintendent Dr. Kyle Thompson. Stated. “We are honored to recognize and recognize their meaningful efforts. Education is truly a work of the mind, and these professionals approach their work with relentless tenacity, creativity, flexibility, and ability. Our students, schools and communities benefit from their skills, knowledge and compassion.”
