ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — One New Mexico business was recognized for its success during National Small Business Week.
This week, Albuquerque-based Triskelion Group earned top overall honors from the Small Business Administration's New Mexico Office.
Watch the video above to see how CEO Chris Sweetin and his staff provided essential security services, expanded to over 80 employees, and made plans for further expansion.
“It was a huge passion,” Sweetin said. “Every day is a new challenge and we are thinking of ways to solve it.”
“He has grown tremendously with the company. He is a great example of a success story,” said John Garcia, district director of the Small Business Administration's New Mexico office.
Garcia said New Mexico's small businesses are “thriving.” Companies that survived the COVID-19 pandemic have come out even stronger, and new companies have proliferated in recent years.
“They've become very resilient because of the pandemic. They've bounced back. They've generated some new thoughts and ideas,” Garcia said.
Anyone who owns or wants to run a business can contact the Small Business Administration for information and connections to resources, including access to financing and capital.
