Uniswap users can now use Robinhood Connect to purchase cryptocurrencies using funds from Robinhood, debit cards, or bank transfers.
Robinhood Connect became available to users of the Uniswap mobile app, a decentralized exchange (DEX), this week. Said in a statement Monday. According to the protocol, the service enables cryptocurrency purchases on Uniswap and is one of three providers joining Coinbase Pay and Moonpay.
First-time Robinhood Connect users who purchase $10 worth of crypto on Uniswap's app will receive $10 worth of USDC in their Robinhood account.
The Robinhood Connect and Uniswap integration comes just weeks after the service was launched on hot wallet application MetaMask.
Robinhood's expansion of Connect services for crypto traders comes as the trading platform deepens its focus on cryptocurrencies. Last week, Robinhood listed four new cryptocurrency tokens for users in New York.
