ROCK COUNTY, Wis. – The Rock County Public Health Department is warning people about possible exposure to measles.
Rock County Public Health has confirmed that a Dane County resident with a confirmed case of measles has been in Rock County while contagious.
The Department of Public Health is working with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services and other local health departments to identify and notify people who may have been exposed to the measles virus.
People who have been in the following locations may have been exposed to measles:

Kwik Trip on Sunday, April 21st from 2:45pm to 5pm at 603 W Madison Ave, Milton, WI

SSM Health Dean Medical Group – Janesville, 3200 E Racine St, Janesville, WI, Monday, April 22, 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.

SSM Health Mary's Hospital – Janesville, 3200 E Racine St, Janesville, WI, Tuesday, April 23, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
People who will be in these locations on these dates and times should check their vaccination status. Immunization records are available at: Wisconsin Immunization Registry.
Anyone who has not been vaccinated and has been in these locations should stay home and contact the RCPH or local health department for instructions.
SSM Health is working to contact known patients who may have been exposed to measles while on campus Monday afternoon or Tuesday via MyChart or by phone.
Measles vaccines are highly effective. Fully vaccinated people have a low risk of getting measles even if they come into contact with someone who is contagious.
