BELLEFONTAINE, Ohio – A seventh-grader at Ohio High Point Education Academy recently earned his paraprofessional certification, taking an important step on his path to becoming an educator.
Education Academy fourth-year students who earned their paraprofessional licenses include Raelynn Kirkpatrick (Bellefontaine), Jaron Manns (Kenton), Regan Bunn (Urbana), Kelsey Bushon (Kenton), and Emma They include Mr. Johnson (Riverside), Mr. Mandarin Brazzle (Bellefontaine) and Mr. Justice Scholl (Graham). ).
“I'm so proud and excited that all of our seniors passed,” Education Academy instructor Angie Walls said. “I look forward to watching them grow as teachers and educators.”
Students can now help elementary through high school students with math, reading, and writing. Once students graduate, they can work within the school and receive licensure through the Ohio Department of Education.
