CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – The 413 Card Show will be held for the second year in a row Saturday at the Castle of Knights in Chicopee.
According to a 413 Card Show news release, sports fans will be able to check out 110 tables of sports cards, memorabilia, Pokemon, card supplies, grading services and more from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dealers come from Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, and New York, each with their own specialty in the hobby.
Featured items at the event include cards from sports such as baseball, football, basketball, hockey, professional wrestling, auto racing, and Pokemon cards. They range from modern to vintage, graded to raw, single box to sealed wax. more.
“The first show we did in January was fun. We had over 50 tables and everyone loved the show,” said show co-promoter Scott Green. “Unfortunately there was a snowstorm that day which prevented our participation. We are expecting a large turnout this time and there is quite a bit of buzz around the 413.”
Boston Celtics great and two-time NBA champion Cedric Maxwell will be signing autographs from 11 a.m. to noon. He can have personal items autographed for $24.95. You can also purchase Cedric items including rookie cards, mini basketballs, 8×10 photos, and more.
The event will feature several prizes, including Red Sox tickets, WooSox and Thunderbirds tickets, tickets from Reminders, and a chance to win other door prizes. Admission is $2, and children 12 and under are free. Parking is free for participants.
