It's Livingston County Rivalry Week for girls soccer.
Pinckney will be at Fowlerville on Monday at 6 p.m., a matchup between two teams that don't have much history with each other, but a rare opportunity for each to play another team in the county.
Then the big game begins Thursday at Brighton in the Heartland at 7 p.m.
Brighton defeated Heartland 3-0 in the district semifinals last season to win the district championship. The Eagles have revenge in mind, but both teams know the only game that really matters will probably be their third matchup in district play.
