Hagerstown, MD (April 4, 2024) The Washington County Agricultural Education Center is pleased to announce the holding of a public information meeting regarding the proposed Agricultural Education Center multipurpose indoor building. The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, April 17th at 6:00 pm and will be held at the Washington County Agricultural Education Center Administrative Office located at 7313 Sharpsburg Pike Boonsboro MD 21713.
During the conference, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the latest concepts for the Agricultural Education Center Multipurpose Indoor Building. Various materials such as floor plans, renderings, and site concept plans will be made available to provide insight into the proposed project. Although the overall building concept has been defined, the individual building elements have not yet been designed, so this meeting is an ideal time to gather feedback.
The building will be able to host recreational activities and special events, expanding the agricultural center's capacity and ability to host year-round activities. The prepared image is shown below.
