Chicago (April 4, 2024) – Chicago Fire FC today announced program details for Chicago Sports Night, which will be held at Soldier Field on Saturday, April 6th at home against the Houston Dynamo. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. PT, and the Fire will celebrate Chicago's sports community and the city's major sports franchises through pregame festivities, memorabilia displays, and appearances by special athletes and mascots. .

Special appearance
Chicago Sports Day features special appearances by Chicago athletes and alumni. Fans can enjoy a variety of pregame activities, including FIFA, NHL 2K24, and NBA 2K activities in the South Courtyard. There will also be an MLB The Show 24 game station and giveaways from Chicago sports teams and NASCAR Chicago. Local artists such as Sparky, Staley the Bears mascot, Southpaw the White Sox mascot, Supernova the Red Stars mascot, DIBS the DePaul mascot, and Gus T. Bull the Windy City Bulls mascot. Long-time Blackhawks national anthem singer Jim Cornelison will once again perform the national anthem. A familiar tradition to Chicago Bulls fans, the Chicago Fire-themed “Running of the Bulls” video will be shown for the first time at Soldier Field. After the Fire completes the first 45 minutes of the game, a local boys soccer team takes on the Chicago mascot's team in a halftime friendly scrimmage.

The first 5,000 fans to enter Soldier Field will receive a special limited edition Chicago Fire themed baseball jersey. Fans can participate in the “Pop-A-Shot Competition” in the South Courtyard before the game for a chance to win premium seating upgrades and a basketball autographed by Bulls legend Dennis Rodman. The contest begins at 5:30pm and ends at 7:10pm.
In addition to Chicago Sports Day, the Fire will also host Mexican Heritage Night during the April 6 game.
