SANTA FE — Santa Fe Community College (SFCC) announced that its summer continuing education schedule is now available online.

Wendy brings the art and storytelling of Rodrigue's Blue Dog to the Four Seasons, offering two of her experiences this July. We think all of these classes will be hugely popular in the communities we serve. ”
New partners include the Rodrigue Life and Legacy Foundation, New Mexico College of Agriculture, Consumer and Environmental Sciences (Santa Fe County Extension), and the Spanish Colonial Arts Association.
Rodrigue Life and Legacy Foundation partners with CE
Wendy Rodrik Magnus is a nonprofit organization that inspires children of all ages and backgrounds with unique programs centered around the life and art of American artist George Rodrik (1944-2013). He is the founder of the Rodrigue Life and Legacy Foundation.
Wendy is currently married to Douglas Magnus of Santa Fe. He is a famous silversmith, photographer, and owner of Tiffany Cerrillos' Turquoise Mine. Douglas Magnus is a close friend and artistic collaborator of George Rodrigue and often accompanies Wendy on the Life & Legacy Tour. Magnus has also produced Rodrigue Video Narratives, a library of short films focusing on Rodrigue's individual works.
Rodrigue Magnus will be teaching the following classes this summer:
- George Rodrigue's New Mexico Reminiscences (July 8, 12:30-4:00 p.m.)
Join Four Seasons Resort's Rodrigue Magnus as he shares a selection of artwork inspired by his late husband's original Santa Fe in an intimate, unplugged art and storytelling experience. Includes a New Orleans inspired lunch by Four Seasons. - The Healing Art of Storytelling with Blue Dog (July 29, 12:30-4:00 p.m.)
Rodrigue Magnus presents personal and provocative sessions at the Four Seasons Resort, using art and storytelling as tools for thought expansion, emotional growth, and cultural awareness. Wendy leads the class on a journey through illness, death, and grief as a path to living and joy. Through George's and her own stories, she reminds us that one person can change the world. Includes a New Orleans inspired lunch by Four Seasons.
NMSU College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences (Santa Fe County Extension Campus)
Learn tips on water conservation and cultivation techniques this summer in the following classes at NMSU's Santa Fe County Extension Campus.
- Water Harvesting in Landscape and Land Restoration (July 2, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.)
- Gardening using native plants (July 9th, 10am-2pm)
- Container & Small Space Herb Garden (July 16th 10am – 2pm)
Spanish Colonial Art Association
In partnership with the Spanish Colonial Art Institute, this class includes behind-the-scenes tours and lectures on our vast collection of treasures.
- Heritage Arts of New Mexico (July 16, 10 a.m.-noon)
Continuing Education offers more classes throughout the summer. Pre-registration is required for all CE classes through SFCC's Continuing Education Program.
