The Tulsa Public Schools Board has approved the district's 2024-25 calendar.
Classes begin on August 20th and the fall semester ends on December 20th. Due to three days of inclement weather, the tentative last day of classes is scheduled for May 21, 2025.
TPS will be adjourned for the Nov. 4 and 5 sessions to facilitate voting by district officials. Election day for him is Tuesday, November 5th. The district will take a full week off from campaigning for Thanksgiving.
Instead of the traditional fall break, classes will be held on Oct. 11 for parent-teacher conferences, Oct. 14 for Indigenous Peoples Day, and Oct. 15 for Occupational Day.
Unlike in recent years, the district does not plan to offer work leave around Labor Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President's Day or spring break next school year.
