According to NDC, the video addresses the most common questions and misconceptions about gemstones, while teaching sales professionals how to share information about the positive impact the diamond industry has on communities around the world.
The videos, each one to three minutes long, depict customers buying diamond jewelry for themselves, customers buying diamond jewelry for someone else, and even couples visiting the store. Shop together.
These videos are part of NDC's expanded education platform and are now available for monthly subscriptions in addition to annual subscriptions. Monthly subscriptions start at $399.

In addition to expanding its educational programs, NDC recently added its first non-mining member, Okavango Diamond Company (ODC).
ODC is a rough diamond distributor and is owned by the Botswana government. It is selling supplies to Botswana from Debswana, a mining company jointly run by the De Beers Group and the Botswana government.
ODC will receive an increased share of the country's diamond production under a new 10-year sales agreement signed by De Beers and Botswana in June.
Its share will initially jump from 25% to 30%, and will gradually increase over time, reaching 50% in the final year of the contract.
As the company becomes an NDC member, ODC Managing Director Mumetla Masire will join the non-profit organization's board of directors.
“We are very pleased to announce our support to the Natural Diamond Council,” he said.
“ODC strongly believes in building customer trust, and we feel that blends very well with NDC’s mission to expand consumer awareness across markets.”
