Burnley were the better team, outscoring Wolves 13-8, having 52% possession and having six shots on goal through Jose Sa. 16th-placed Everton have 26 points, while Nottingham Forest's win took them to 25 points, meaning they will settle for 19 points and 19th place.
Wolves are reeling after an impressive run from the festive fixture to February. Gary O'Neal's men's team has posted a 1W-1D-2L record recently, ranking 10th with 42 points. This leaves them two points behind eighth-placed Newcastle, three points behind West Ham and six points behind sixth-placed Manchester United.
Clarets' relegation likely to come down to bad decisions by both teams
Burnley have missed chances this season and have not been able to make much of what they have gained. That's because he's tied for the team lead with three players scoring just four goals per game. The expected goals weren't there and this Burnley team had to outdo their opponents as they conceded one chance after another. Promoted teams often need a keeper to keep up and young James Trafford was given too much time until Burnley returned to Alijanette Muric. The Clarets mentioned their last line for the season in January and Dara O'Shea also had an opportunity, but it wasn't all about the keeper. All of the above is why no good enough football system can produce a second season of the Premier League, unless something special arrives at Turf Moor.

Both keepers played well, but Jose Sa's control of the 18-yard box was the reason the game remained at 1-1. Burnley were good everywhere except on the right. Vitinho tried his best but could not get extra points from Wilson Odbert and David Datolo Fofana. Wolves' teenage striker Leon Chiwome was unable to find his footing up top, while Max Kilman helped Sa to set things up at Wolves' end.
