Novi, Michigan—During the 2024 NAB Show, ENCO will showcase an AI-powered virtual anchor that delivers live news from a realistic 3D virtual news set.
This innovative presentation will be produced live from a virtual production studio that combines Qhimera AR/VR/MR systems and generative AI technology, ENCO reported.
Attendees can step into this virtual production world from April 14-17, 2024 at ENCO's booth (W1743) in the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

ENCO first announced its partnership with Chimera at NAB last year, showcasing a fully virtual production at its booth. AI Virtual Anchor is an exciting new innovation on display this year, leveraging an AI model to generate a virtual human anchor that speaks with a human-like voice. These are generated by ENCO's new SPECai-generated AI text and speech creation application.
More specifically, the Qhimera virtual production workflow takes news articles, summarizes them, and delivers them as synthesized speech through a virtual anchor.
Qhimera Virtual Production Environment accelerates the learning curve by removing all complexity from the process. The underlying Qhimera technology leverages the integrated Unreal Engine, NVIDIA GeForce graphics cards, and 3D asset libraries to generate realistic, real-time graphics sets. Other integrated features include a virtual camera, track/trackless camera system, 4-input switcher, and DMX lighting control.
