The Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) and Ohio University have partnered to offer a transfer process that allows students to pursue higher education beyond an associate degree program.
As partners, KCTCS and Ohio State will collaborate on additional opportunities to collaborate on both on-campus and online programs.
Students from all 16 KCTCS colleges can earn an associate's degree from Ohio University and gain a pathway to a bachelor's degree. Ohio State's path to both online and on-campus degrees provides flexibility for KCCTCS students.
The first route includes:
• KCTCS Nursing AAS to Ohio State Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN).
• KCTCS AA to Ohio State Psychology BS.
• Bachelor's degree in Technology and Applied Studies from KCTCS AA in Ohio.
• Ohio State Sociology-Criminology from KCTCS AA.
• KCTCS AA for the Ohio Sociology Code Enforcement Act.
• KCTCS Business Administration AAS from Ohio State and Bachelor of Business Science.
• KCTCS Criminal Justice AAS from Ohio State and Bachelor of Criminal Justice degree.
• KCTCS AAS Human Services to Ohio Social Work.

KCTCS and Ohio University continue to discuss new opportunities for collaboration and further expanding learning options for local students. These discussions will involve a wide range of stakeholders from within and outside of the institution, working to identify additional ways to help develop a more highly educated workforce that can meet the needs of the region.
