Fake cryptocurrency courses are on the rise
Bloomberg highlights that apart from good and valuable courses, many fake courses are also on the rise. He added that students need to understand that certain certificates are just financial tricks. Cryptocurrency education programs are directly linked to alleged fraud in at least one out of five purchases. Last month, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission announced a settlement with Brian Sewell, founder of the online trading course American Bitcoin Academy. According to the agency, Sewell defrauded 15 students out of about $1 million by convincing them to join a fictitious hedge fund.

Demand for Bitcoin ETFs fuels demand for crypto courses
Rick Edelman, founder of Edelman Financial Engines, said that since the first batch of ETFs that invest directly in Bitcoin were approved in the United States, he has received inquiries about certification courses offered by the Council of Digital Asset Financial Professionals. It is said to have increased by 30%. According to Bloomberg, Bitcoin's record rally this year has sparked the interest of many organizations looking to fill the gap created by the lack of widely recognized professional degrees in the crypto industry.
Bitcoin ETF Rise
The movement towards Bitcoin ETFs has been gaining momentum in recent days, as evidenced by a notable spike in inflows to certain funds such as Fidelity's FBTC and US Spot Bitcoin ETF. The inflow data on March 15th has significantly increased compared to the previous day, indicating increased investor interest.
This surge becomes even more significant when compared to withdrawals from well-known Bitcoin investment vehicles such as BlackRock’s IBIT and Grayscale’s GBTC. The sustained inflow pattern highlights Bitcoin's continued appeal as a profitable investment option that attracts the attention and capital of savvy investors around the world.
