COLLEGE PARK, Md. — Indiana University wrestlers Graham and Kayden Rooks earned a spot in the NCAA Championships by finishing seventh in their weight class at the Big Ten Tournament over the weekend.
Graham Rooks, a sixth-year student at Columbus East University, won his first round match in overtime on Saturday, reaching his goal at 149 pounds. He defeated Wisconsin's Joseph Zalgo 5-4 in Sunday's seventh-place match.

Kayden Rooks, a five-year senior from East, needed a 5-1 decision against Purdue's Dustin Norris in Sunday's seventh-place match in the 133-pound weight class, but only the top seven in that weight class. I was able to qualify.
The NCAA Championships will be held March 21-23 in Kansas City, Missouri.
Wolf swims at MAC Championships
CARBONDALE, Ill. — Dathan Wolf finished sixth in the 200-yard backstroke and seventh in the 200-yard freestyle relay for Valparaiso following his performance at the MAC Championships.

Wolf, a sophomore at Columbus East University, finished 17th in the 200 backstroke heats with a time of 1 minute, 55.73 seconds, missing out on a spot in the repechage finals by one spot. He also placed 21st in the 100 backstroke with a score of 52.51.
Valpo placed seventh in the 200-meter freestyle relay with a time of 1:24.64.

TERRE HAUTE — Saige Staal had five points, one rebound, one steal and one block in nine minutes of action in Indiana State's 91-62 Missouri Valley Conference loss to Northern Iowa on Thursday.

Greenwell and Harrison help WSU win
Julian Greenwell went 2-for-3 with a double, a home run and three RBIs in Wright State's 6-5 win at Miami (Ohio) on Wednesday.

BATON ROUGE, La. — Kyler McIntosh went 1-for-5 with a double and an RBI in Alabama State's 9-1 win and 4-for-6 in Saturday's 13-5 win over Southern. He had one hit and one RBI.
