STEVENS POINT – The Rockets rallied from a nine-point deficit in the second half to defeat the Tigers to win the section title and advance to the state tournament.
Nina is heading to state for the third consecutive year and fourth time in six seasons. This will be the Rockets' 30th trip to state, and they will be looking to win their fifth state title.
Neenah, which joins Hartland Arrowhead, Kettle Moraine and Milwaukee Market in the state, has won 13 straight games and 17 of its last 18 games.
Brady Corso replaced Nina and scored 18 of his game-high 24 points in the second half.
Marshfield led 26-20 at halftime and extended its lead to 34-25 with 13:59 left in the second half, but the Rockets gradually closed the gap.
Corso made a 3-pointer with 5:45 left to give Neenah a 42-41 lead, then made another 3-pointer to make it 45-41 with 4:56 left.
With Neenah leading 47-45 with 48 seconds left, Corso made a layup on an inbounds play to extend the Rockets' lead to four points.

MANITOWOC – Freedom's Drew Coates scored a game-high 30 points, but it wasn't enough as the Irish lost in the section championship game.
Kiel remained undefeated (28-0) and qualified for the state tournament for the third time since 2010.
Grant Mantz led Kiel with 17 points. Pierce Arens had 13 points, Aidan Murphy had 15 points and Jack Heckman had 13 points.
“It's been that way all year long,” Kiel coach Marcus Rumpf said of the balanced approach. “If Grant or Pierce is out, there's always someone to fill that void. These kids are unbelievable.”
Even after cutting a lead of nearly 20 points in the second half to five points with about six minutes left, the Raiders remained focused.
The senior standouts did just that, as the Irish forced Mantz and Arents to victory at the free-throw line. Arents went 7-of-11 from the line and Mantz went 7-of-10, all in the second half.
Freedom finished the season with 23 wins and 5 losses, with Donovan Davis adding 14 points.
