STAPLES — Lakewood Health System will hold weekly grief support group meetings every Tuesday from March 19th to April 23rd from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Sourcewell located on 12th St. NE in Staples. It will be held.
Anyone grieving the loss of a loved one, child, or other loss may attend one or all of the gatherings.
As participants in a grief support group, participants have the opportunity to share with others who have also recently experienced grief or loss. We encourage you to share at your own comfort level.
“Everyone goes through a journey of grief as an individual. This journey, when shared, can be a source of inspiration and comfort not only for you but for others as well,” the organizers told News. stated in the release. “With healing comes hope for the future. A grief support group can help you move toward healing. We invite you to join us as we encourage each other through mutual support.”
The group is facilitated by pastor Paul Johnson and social worker Lindsey Kirk.
