Laramie, Wyoming – Learfield, University of Wyoming athletics multimedia rights holder, announced Robert DeSoto as the new general manager of Wyoming Sports Properties, a Laramie-based team.
DeSoto brings extensive industry experience to the Wyoming Sports Properties team, most recently serving as Business Development Manager for Bulldog Sports Properties in Learfield, Fresno State University. Prior to joining Learfield, DeSoto held positions at ServiceMaster by Benevento as a business development and marketing representative and at Ewing Irrigation as an account representative. DeSoto earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Fresno State University and a master's degree in sports management from Murray State University.
Mr. DeSoto will serve as the primary rear-field contact for the university's comprehensive athletics multimedia rights agreements and corporate partner platform. He will work closely with Director of Athletics Tom Berman and the entire Department of Athletics on all aspects of rights matters.
