The editor-in-chief and co-editors of Educational Researcher (ER), including Anjaleh (AJ) Welton of the University of Washington, Madison, share their vision for the term (2024-2026) in the editor profile now available online are doing.
Mr. Welton, co-editor of ER, is the Rapple Bascom Professor of Education and director of the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis in the School of Education. Her scholarship examines how educational leaders interact with and address race and racism in school communities.
The ER editorial team also includes Editor-in-Chief Nicholas A. Bowman and co-editors Olusola O. Adethorpe, Brian P. Ahn, Loyle M. Johnson, and Angela Urich.

Editors also describe the journal's strategic direction and provide insight into the types of manuscripts that ER accepts, including feature articles, reviews/essays, abstracts, and policy forum articles.
Educational researchers (ERs) are generally important to the educational research community and publish scholarly articles from a wide range of educational research and related fields. This journal aims to make major programmatic research and new discoveries of broad importance widely accessible.
