Two weeks after a 3-year-old Wisconsin boy disappeared, police are asking homeowners and businesses to check surveillance footage of the vehicle in question to help trace the child's movements from the day before he went missing. police said on Tuesday.
Elijah Beau was last seen on February 20 in Two Rivers, where he was being watched by Jesse Vann, a man who was dating the boy's mother. Katrina Bauer, according to a criminal complaint filed in Manitowoc County. Vann told police that when she woke up from her nap at her home, Elijah was gone and she realized she was without her child, according to the complaint.
Bauer, 31, and Vann, 39, were charged with child neglect about a week after their disappearance, and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 7. CNN has reached out to attorneys representing Bauer and Van for comment.
Two Rivers police on Tuesday asked the public to share camera footage of a beige four-door 1997 Nissan Altima with a Wisconsin registration number that begins with “A” and ends with “0,” according to the department.
According to a Tuesday police news release, authorities currently own the vehicle and that “Jesse Vann and Katrina Baur are not the owners of the vehicle.”

'' Elijah's aunt, Linda Bew, said at a news conference last week. “Without news of Elijah's safety, her words would not be able to express the depth of her grief and her ever-growing despair.”
