Shopify pricing includes a monthly fee based on your subscription plan, plus additional fees for payment processing, shipping labels, and advanced POS needs.
Shopify subscription costs
Each of Shopify's five online store plans supports unlimited products, orders, and customers and offers data security, payment card industry (PCI) compliance, 24/7 support, and a full range of sales and business management features. To do.
Shopify also offers discounts for prepaying. Save 10% if you pay annually and 20% if you pay biennially.
- Basic, Shopify, and Advanced plans ($29, $79, $299 per month): Each of Shopify's online store plans gives you the ability to sell anywhere with omnichannel and all the features you need to manage your orders, customers, and business. As you move up in plan tiers, you get lower payment processing fees, larger shipping discounts, and access to advanced marketing, management, and reporting tools.
- Shopify Lite ($9/month): This limited-featured Shopify plan supports in-person POS sales and an online buy button tool for non-Shopify websites, blogs, and email sales. Lite does not offer the online store, social media, or seller marketplace channels of other plans.
- Shopify Plus (starting at $2,000/month): Provides enterprise-level features for high-volume, multi-location, multi-million dollar sellers. Plan prices, terms, and features are negotiated based on this level of sales volume and business needs.

Shopify payment processing and transaction fees
You can connect your own payment processor to Shopify or use the built-in Shopify Payments option. If you use your own payment processor, Shopify adds a transaction fee to all online sales that ranges from 0.5% to 2% of the total fee. This fee does not apply when using Shopify Payments.
Shopify Payments offers flat rate payment processing at rates based on your subscription plan, as shown in the table above. Shopify Payments also supports in-person sales using Shopify's mobile POS app and retail POS systems.
Shopify shipping charges
When shipping orders, you can use Shopify's built-in shipping label printing on any plan. Enjoy competitive discount rates with USPS, UPS, DHL and other carriers. Also, the discounts increase further on higher plans.
Shipping charges are calculated each time you process an order and print a shipping label. These costs will be charged to your card when the charges reach a threshold level based on your average shipping volume. However, if you only fulfill a few orders each month, Shopify will add shipping charges to your monthly bill.
Additional Shopify plans, pricing, and costs
Shopify's POS capabilities enable mobile pop-up shops, marketplace sales, services, and even in-person sales across multiple retail stores. POS-based sales also seamlessly connect to online sales, inventory, customer data, and business reporting.
You can use the free POS Lite, which is included with every Shopify plan, or add full retail checkout functionality for a monthly fee.
Shopify POS Lite (free with all plans)
This mobile POS in-person selling feature is built into all Shopify plans, including the $9/month Shopify Lite plan. Shopify POS Lite allows merchants to record in-person sales through a mobile app and process payments using manual keystrokes or a card reader connected to their mobile device. POS Lite requires the use of Shopify Payments as the payment processor, and his one-time purchase cost for mobile card readers is $49 each.
Shopify POS Pro ($89 per month, per location)
This complete retail checkout system provides robust inventory tracking, staffing tools, and analytics on any Shopify plan. Shopify POS Pro Checkout is iPad-based, and you can purchase an iPad checkout stand, cash drawer, card reader, and other checkout accessories as needed.
Premium Shopify Theme
Shopify offers nine free store themes for sellers, but many sellers choose premium Shopify themes with special designs, additional features, and more customization options. Shopify's Theme Store has over 75 premium themes starting at $180, and Theme Forest has over 1500 premium Shopify themes starting at $17.
