Jose A. Bauermeister, Ph.D., MPH, LDI Senior Fellow, Professor and Chair of the Department of Family and Community Health, School of Nursing, University of Pennsylvania, has been appointed to the National Advisory Committee on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NACMHD). The Council meets three times a year and advises the Secretary of Health and Human Services and the Directors of NIH and NIMHD on issues related to NIMHD's mission.
