Rapper Travis Scott was performing at Carver-Hawkeye Arena on Sunday.
The music superstar was clearly enjoying the action as he watched Caitlin Clark surpass Pete Maravich's all-time NCAA basketball scoring record.
Scott continued on to the court after the game and took photos with the team.
“I came tonight to watch CC handle business.'' Scott said in a video posted by NBC Sports. “You know Caitlin Clark, she's one of the greatest human beings of all time. So we came here to watch some great Iowa basketball. Gabby Marshall, Katie Martin, here. It's a very good team. I've been in a lot of buildings and this Iowa energy is like no other.
“I think we need to bottle this energy and bring it to the world.”
The “Sicko Mode” singer entered the arena to thunderous applause from Hawkeyes fans who had gathered to watch the final regular-season game and record-breaking moment of Clark's career.
Scott walked to his courtside seat, escorted by a university police officer, and stopped to greet Kevin Miles, known as “Jake from State Farm.”
He was engrossed in the on-court action throughout the game and was visibly captured enjoying the atmosphere of the crowd.
One video posted to X showed Scott dancing to music played by the Iowa pep band.
Another video showed “I KNOW?” A singer who passionately reacts to the action on the court in front of the people sitting next to her.
Clark broke Maravich's record while at the free throw line with 0.3 seconds left in the second quarter of Iowa's win over Ohio State.
She made college basketball history by tying a record with her first free throw attempt and electrifying the arena with her second.
Clark also broke Lynette Woodward's women's major college career scoring record of 3,649 points, which is not officially recognized by the NCAA.
The game's history-making potential has already driven up ticket prices, making them more expensive than any previous women's college or WNBA game, ESPN previously reported.
