The 26th Annual Minnesota Twins Golf Classic on February 15th raised $58,000 for life-saving programs at Lee Health Cancer Institute.
The tournament, held at Topgolf in Fort Myers, featured contests and prizes for all ages and skill levels, as well as meet-and-greets with Minnesota Twins celebrities. Attendees enjoyed food and drinks, gift bags, a silent auction, team prizes, and various games throughout the afternoon.
“Minnesota Twins Celebrity Golf Classic participants and sponsors improve the lives of patients and their families through comprehensive programs and services to ensure no one has to fight cancer alone. He contributed to this.” said Debra Wilson, associate director of oncology at Lee Health Cancer Institute. “With this support, we will break down financial barriers to treatment, advance cancer research, and invest in cutting-edge technology and training to provide the best possible care for patients throughout their cancer journey. I will do my best to do that.”
The Minnesota Twins' annual golf event benefiting Lee Health has raised more than $2.1 million over 26 years to help strengthen and expand world-class care in Southwest Florida.
