Mon Health Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital spent February Heart Month active in the community, spreading awareness about heart health and offering many free activities to community members of all ages.
As part of its commitment to the community, Mon Health Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital will attend Lewis County High School boys and girls basketball games, encourage activities that promote heart health, and provide free health screenings. provided. Throughout the month, the hospital offered additional free and low-cost blood pressure and pulse oximetry tests to area residents at Citizens Bank of Weston, Weston City offices and local senior centers.
Additionally, the hospital held numerous information sessions and demonstrations to educate the community about heart health and safety measures. These educational sessions included two-handed cardiopulmonary resuscitation training at several local organizations. Mon Health Stonewall Jackson Memorial staff also installed exhibits at the hospital and Citizens Bank in Weston with information about heart-healthy foods, activities and advice.
