DUI: 10:28 a.m., San Tomas Expressway and West Campbell Avenue. The driver was stopped for violating vehicle laws. They exhibited objective symptoms of being under the influence of alcohol and failed to complete field sobriety tests. The driver was arrested.
Possession of a controlled substance: 1:44 p.m., San Tomas Expressway and Budd Avenue. The stopped passenger was found to be in possession of multiple types of suspected drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Grand Theft: 9:20 a.m., 100 block of Kristich Lane. Someone stole about $1,000 worth of plumbing supplies.
February 20th
Attempted vehicle theft: Occurred at 4:55 a.m. in the 100 block of Hardy Avenue. The three suspects broke into the car by breaking the door lock. In an attempt to steal the vehicle, the suspects damaged the ignition and fled the scene.
Robbery: 6 p.m., in the 1000 block of Walnut Drive. Someone entered an unlocked residence, entered a locked bedroom and stole approximately $3,000 in cash and $2,000 worth of cologne.
DUI: 10:08 p.m., Curtner Street and South Bascom Street. The man was stopped for a moving violation and was found to be driving under the influence.
February 21st
Robbery: North Third Street and Watson Drive. : Someone robbed his Chevrolet Silverado and shattered the left rear window.
February 23rd
Arson, possession of a controlled substance: 11:53 a.m., in the 300 block of East Campbell Avenue. A man started a fire in a company's bathroom during business hours. He was also in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Grand Theft: 6:40 p.m., 1700 block of South Bascom Avenue. The two suspects stole approximately $13,000 worth of merchandise.
Trespassing, battery: 6:01 p.m., 00 block of South San Tomas Aquino Road. The suspect got into an argument and assaulted the store clerk, including slamming her hand. The suspect refused to leave the premises after being warned and was arrested on suspicion of trespassing.
February 24th
Illegal Mischief: At 3:11 a.m., in the 500 block of West Sagno Oaks Avenue. The victim witnessed two suspects stealing the cover of a neighbor's car. The victim shined a light on the suspects, who then threw rocks at his home. The victim wanted to be prosecuted for loitering.
DUI: 12:27 a.m., South Bascom Avenue and Dry Creek Road. The man was stopped for violating vehicle laws and was found to be driving under the influence.
Petit theft: Occurred in the 500 block of East Hamilton Avenue at 3:15 p.m. A woman enters a store that is open and places items in her handbag. She paid the balance on her credit card but did not pay for the $110.83 worth of items in her bag.
Petit theft: Occurred at 8:17 a.m. in the 1500 block of West Campbell Avenue. The suspect jumped over the counter and stole $92 worth of cigarettes, then fled the scene on a bicycle.
Vandalism: At 10:12 p.m., suspect threw a lighter at the windshield of a vehicle in the 1500 block of South Bascom Avenue, causing less than $400 in damage.
Fraudulent currency: 8:44 p.m., 200 block of East Campbell Avenue. The man bought food using a fake $100 bill. He had several counterfeit $100 bills in his possession.
February 25th
Federal crime, possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia: At 4:04 p.m., in the 600 block of Creekside Way. The man was in possession of methamphetamine, crack cocaine and a glass smoking pipe. He used a different name to hide a federal warrant for a felony robbery charge.
Petit theft: Occurred in the 1800 block of South Bascom Avenue at 1:13 p.m. Someone entered the store and stole the items. They fled before police arrived.
Civil Rights Violation Property Damage: Noon in the 4000 block of McCoy Street: Someone spray-painted swastikas and penises on the windows of two classrooms.
Possession of burglary tools, battery on a peace officer, resisting arrest, possession of a controlled substance or under the influence: 6:55 p.m., 1800 block of South Bascom Avenue. The man fled from officers during a pedestrian stop and was later arrested. He struck a police officer while resisting his arrest. He was in possession of burglary tools and methamphetamine. He has other people's personal ID information and has a criminal record for identity theft. He was also under the influence of controlled substances.
