Speculation on the issue is facing a backlash on social media after new information has come to light that could potentially identify Bitcoin's creator.
Jack Mallers, founder and CEO of Bitcoin payment app Strike Said:
“You should stop speculating about who Satoshi is.” [Nakamoto] It sounds…very flat…childish…like a bunch of fractal brothers trying to climb the social curve. ”
Mallars commented on speculation that Nakamoto could be Hal Finney, an early Bitcoin contributor who died in 2014. He suggested that such speculation could be dangerous for Hull's widow Fran Finney. Additionally, Mallers said it was clear that Nakamoto intended to remain anonymous by using a pseudonym, and his speculation downplayed this.

“this [speculation] I don't like it at all. Hull's Bitcoin was sold long ago to help pay for ALS treatment. Treasure hunters have been harassing Fran ever since, demanding billions of Bitcoins she doesn't have.claim [someone] Satoshi is extremely dangerous. Please don't do that. ”
Meanwhile, Los Angeles-based Bitcoiner and software engineer GangGangHODL, wrote that Nakamoto created Bitcoin as the “ultimate gift to humanity” and wanted only anonymity in return. “Let us return that gift with respect,” they wrote.
Ongoing lawsuit sparks new speculation
Finney and several other early Bitcoin contributors have long been considered likely candidates for the individual (or individuals) operating as Satoshi Nakamoto. Finney is considered a particularly strong candidate due to his early use of Bitcoin, comparative analysis of his writing style, and the fact that he once lived in the same neighborhood as someone named Dorian Nakamoto.
More recent speculation appears to have been sparked by a lawsuit involving computer scientist Craig Wright, who claims to be Nakamoto. A coalition of crypto industry members called the Crypto Open Patent Alliance (COPA) is fighting Wright's dubious claims in court.
Several early contributors, including Adam Back and Marti Marmi, recently submitted early email communications with Nakamoto regarding the case. The current controversy stems from speculation by his partner at Cinneamhain Ventures (CEHV), Adam Cochran. guessed By examining these emails and outlining the timeline of events, we determined that Hal Finney was likely the person operating behind the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto.
Despite these recent developments, Satoshi Nakamoto's true identity remains ultimately unknown, and there is no widespread consensus as to who he or she is.
