Fresh off the success of its first Family Health Center in Lincoln, CHI Health has plans for another Family Health Center.
The health system, which owns St. Elizabeth Hospital and Nebraska Heart Hospital in Lincoln, opened its first Family Health Center at 40th Street and Yankee Hill Road in 2022. The facility features two primary care clinics, the health system's first full-service pharmacy in Lincoln, an on-site laboratory, and other services including behavioral health, orthopedics, X-ray, and ultrasound .
CHI Health now plans to build a similar clinic at 98th Street and O Street near the Waterford Estates development.
Health system spokeswoman Taylor Miller said the company purchased land on the northwest corner of the intersection to add a family health center to Lincoln.
The facility will be similar to the one at 40th Street and Yankee Hill Road and will offer primary care, priority care, behavioral health and radiology services, and a pharmacy.

Miller said the project is in the early stages and CHI Health expects to open sometime in 2026.
Miller also said CHI Health St. Elizabeth has added new robotic surgical technology for knee and hip replacements.
Robotic technology customizes the implant for each patient and collects metrics to design the implant to reflect the existing joint.
Orthopedic surgeons operating in St. Elizabeth began using the robot in November.
