Ms. Da Cruz's most recent positions were as Executive Vice President, Chief Nursing Officer, and Acting Chief Operating Officer at Lawrence + Memorial Healthcare in New London, CT.
Mr. Da Cruz expressed his excitement to join Jacksonville University Health and said, “I am thrilled to be joining Jacksonville University Health. I'm excited to be a part of the Northeast Florida community and be part of the team. ”
With this appointment, she will lead a team of more than 2,600 nurses, support staff and administrators at Jacksonville University Health Jacksonville's two hospitals in Downtown and North Jacksonville.
Da Cruz's extensive leadership experience includes various roles at L+M's Westerly Hospital, including Vice President of Operations, Chief Administrative Officer, Associate Chief Nursing Officer, and other managed care departments.
