Rochester — Minnesota Department of Health is moving to Rochester by moving its offices to the northwest quadrant.
The state health department has a team of 28 employees based in Rochester and currently has an office at 18 Wood Lake Drive Southeast.

“We determined that we needed less space, so it will be a small space of about 4,700 square feet,” she wrote.
The space addition, estimated at $240,000, is expected to be completed in time for the move in early summer.

New Era Development is currently home to the Rochester office of DBS Group, a commercial construction management company and general contractor based in Onalaska, Wisconsin. It is also a popular spot for national technology companies such as LSI Corp. and LSI Corp. Avago Technologies.
