East Division's struggling second division: The Bucks have lost seven of 10 games since Doc Rivers took over as manager, and the Knicks have lost four in a row as they await the return of Julius Randle (shoulder) and OG Anunoby (elbow) and are without Joel Embiid. The 76ers have lost nine of 12 games.
-
The GOAT lurks: The Lakers and Warriors have had shaky seasons, but both teams are on the upswing and appear to have a ticket to the play-in round. Do you think the best teams in the West are looking forward to a potential first-round matchup with LeBron James and Stephen Curry?
-
Very lively: The Jazz (26-30), Rockets (24-30), Nets (21-33) and Raptors (19-36) are behind, but all are still within five games of a play-in spot. It is in.

πΈ Behind the lens
Every week, we go “Behind the Lens” at Getty Images to hear the stories behind some of the best photos in sports.
Photos of the week: Morgane Herculano of the Swiss team resurfaces after diving in the women's 20m platform final at the 2024 World Aquatics Championships.
-
position: doha, qatar
-
date: February 14
Behind the lens: This is photographer Adam Pretty…
This photo was taken using a handheld mirrorless camera inside an underwater housing. I was swimming and freediving in the pool, watching the divers come off their boards. Once they launched, I dove underwater to frame the shot.
Divers plunged into the water at speeds of over 80 kilometers (50 miles) per hour, often reaching the bottom of the pool. Morgane luckily resurfaced towards me outside of the bubble and made a really nice and elegant shape.
Being in the water allows you to adjust your position in ways you can't on land, allowing you to work in three complete dimensions. Water can complicate things because it's so unpredictable, but I love the challenge. No matter how many times you find yourself in a similar situation, you never really know what you have until you hold it in your hands.
