CONCORD, N.C. (WBTV) – Food service workers in Cabarrus County will have the opportunity to receive free medical care next week.
Healthcare services will be provided as part of the “Pop-Up Doc” event at the venue. Community free clinic Along Lake Concord Road. The event is scheduled for Monday, February 26th and will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
This event specifically targets food service industry workers who have low incomes and are uninsured or underinsured.
“We look forward to serving as many people as possible with our pop-up dock event,” said Laura Milliken, executive director of Community Free Clinic. “More importantly, we welcome many future patients who will be eligible to enroll in the Community Free Clinic and receive ongoing free treatment.”
Services available at this event include physical exams, behavioral health screenings, laboratory tests, and “lifestyle medicine” screenings to improve your health by creating healthy habits.

Two more Pop-Up Doc events will be held in the region on April 8 and April 15 in east Charlotte.
