NEW ORLEANS (Press Release) – Cocktails for KID Smart will celebrate 25 years of teaching through imagination on March 21 at The Cannery. The 21st annual event, made possible by traditional sponsor Ochsner Health and current sponsor Jones Walker & Primary Eye Care, supports KID smART's expansion of programming at the Creative School and brings the organization to New Orleans. and other regions to become a powerful force in arts education.

Cocktails for Kid Smart, chaired by KID smART board members Gretchen Weller Howard, Michael Mimeles, and Nancia Sterling, begins at 6:30 p.m. and features a special musical entertainment by the Jen Howard Band. Cocktail His party will be held from 7:30pm to 9:30pm and will include a live auction showcasing Ruth Owens' artwork, his week-long stay at a villa in the south of France, and a selection of new items including tickets and memberships.
