SEATTLE — Local sports superstars will be in Seattle Thursday night for the 89th annual Seattle Sports Star of the Year Awards Show.
The 2024 show, hosted by the Seattle Sports Commission (SSC), will be hosted by Seahawks legend KJ Wright. The event will be held at the Westin Seattle.

Dubbed “Washington's Biggest Sports Night,” this annual event specifically celebrates the accomplishments of Washington athletes in both the professional and collegiate categories.
SSC previously announced the winners for tonight's event, including hockey great Gyle Fielder, former Seattle Times sports columnist Larry Stone, and youth softball enthusiast They include Olivia Vitello and Rise Above, a nonprofit that empowers Native youth.
