PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – This weekend in Pittsburgh will be a celebration, even though the Penguins are on a losing streak and fighting for a playoff spot.
When the Los Angeles Kings come to town this Sunday, the Penguins will officially only have No. 3 in the rafters at PPG Paints Arena.
It is the legendary jersey number 68 that belonged to Jaromir Jagr.

In November, the team officially announced plans to retire Jagr's jersey number.
Now Primanti Brothers has also joined in the celebrations.
They've partnered with Sport Clips to offer free mullet haircuts outside their Market Square location on Sundays from 2pm to 5pm.
Those with mullet haircuts will also receive a free sandwich every week through the end of the Penguins season, including the playoffs, if they qualify.
Jagr played in 806 games over 11 seasons with the Penguins, scoring 439 goals, 640 assists and 1,079 points.
He was also a member of the 1991 and 1992 Stanley Cup winning teams.
In 2017, when the NHL celebrated its 100th anniversary, Jagr was named to the league's “100 Best Players'' after scoring 766 goals, 1,155 assists, and 1,921 points in 1,733 career games.
Jagr ranks second only to Wayne Gretzky for the all-time points list. He also holds the NHL game-winning goal record with 135 goals.
Jagr's number 68 will join only Michael Briere's 21 and Mario Lemieux's 66 as retired by the Penguins.
